Dantreveion was in full uniform and died on scene. Blood filled the kitchen, some blood got in the sour cream and on the tacos.

Employees in the Taco Bell ran to the bathroom to get away and locked the doors. The suspect ran off into the night.
Detectives determined the suspect had fled in a vehicle and immediately began working around the clock to identify the person responsible. Police made Dantreveion’s mom travel all the way to Charlotte to tell her that her son died. The police refused to tell her over the phone.
At 6:45 PM on October 14th the suspect was arrested at his home in Indian Trail charged with first degree murder. A local magistrate, who isn’t required to have a law degree and is not an official judge ordered that Gilecio be held without bond, and he is not eligible for release.
