Xavier Holton, 19, is accused of killing his mother 54-year-old Erica Holton and his girlfriend 19-year-old Aminah Guy on November 18, 2024. Xavier then turned the gun on himself via suicide in Cary, NC. Xavier had a history of mental health struggles, he went to black college North Carolina Central University where he and Aminah had scholarships.
Xavier recently experienced suicidal ideations and mentioned purchasing a gun. While at home with Erica and Aminah, Xavier is accused of killing both women. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
Xavier shot and killed his mother, she died on impact. Xavier then went to another room to kill his girlfriend Aminah via a gunshot. Xavier then went to the bathroom to kill himself. Suicide tends to be a huge dilemma in the United States.
Erica’s husband came home from work and found all 3 people dead. Aminah was found dead in the living room area of the home. Erica was found dead in a bedroom. Xavier was found dead in an upstairs bathroom with a firearm found in the sink.
The victim’s husband called 911. Two cell phones, a magazine loader, handgun, gun case, four spent casings, and two fire projectiles were collected during a search of the home.
Xavier and Aminah were students at North Carolina Central University, they both had scholarships to attend the school.
This is not the first time Xavier has attempted suicide. On Nov. 8, 2024 Xavier attempted suicide by crashing his car along I-440., he was driving more than 100 mph and collided with a parked car. Both vehicles caught fire.
Xavier was injured in the accident and later admitted into a mental health facility in Garner, NC.
