Cinque Wilson, 25, died on October 29, 2022 in Columbia, SC. Cinque was a 2020 graduate of Benedict College in South Carolina. This weekend was Benedict’s homecoming, where many parties took place.
Cinque was killed in a vehicle collision at 10:15 p.m. on S.C. 48 Bluff Road. A 2012 Nissan sedan was driving when it struck Cinque who was walking across the road.
Cinque died at the scene. Cinque was with friends that tried to revive him, and attempted so many times to take his pulse.
The driver remained at the scene and was not hurt. The crash is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
Cinque joined the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity at Benedict College in the Spring of 2018. Cinque was also a stellar player on the Benedict College Football Team. Thousands of people were in town for the homecoming celebrations of Benedict College.
There were many parties in the area.
