This is already the second murder for August 2nd
Two murders took place on August 2, 2026. The first killing was on Bardot Drive Charlotte, NC at a residence.
At 1 a.m., one victim was shot to death. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. An additional individual was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is not known if the other victim was injured from being shot.
Also in uptown Charlotte a victim was killed in a shooting around the same time.
