A murder transpired on I-85 in Charlotte, it didn’t take long for Charlotte’s first 2025 homicide
A homicide occurred on Interstate 85 at the WT Harris Blvd on ramp in Charlotte, NC on January 9, 2025. This is the first murder of 2025 in Charlotte. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
A crash of some sort took place. An occupant in one of the vehicles became irate and then shot and killed the occupant of the other vehicle around 11:30 p.m.
The victim died on scene. Details are still forthcoming. The first murder of 2024 was on January 4th, a juvenile killed a grown man at a group home.
