A murder at S&D Banquet Hall left a heavy set ball player dead
Keytavious Lewis, 18, was arrested on July 15, 2026 accused of murdering Jaelen McCormick, 20, at the S&D Banquet Hall on University City Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Jaelen was an alumni football player at a North Carolina High School.
A party was occurring at the banquet hall involving many people. At 1 a.m. a fight started and shots were fired. Jaelen was shot multiple times and died on scene.
Keytavious was later arrested charged with murder. Football players make the news a lot regarding crimes, deaths, and car accidents.
