ROAD RAGE LEADS TO HOMICIDE ON I-85, CHARLOTTE’S FIRST MURDER OF 2025

On January 9, 2025 Christopher Arrojo, 29, was murdered during a road rage shooting on Interstate 85 in Charlotte, NC. Marquail Burris, 24, is charged with murdering Christopher. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.

A vehicular wreck occurred around 11:30 p.m. on January 9th. Christopher and Marquail were driving separate vehicles. Marquail is accused of shooting and killing Christopher during the collision.

Christopher died on scene. Marquail was arrested charged with murder and hit/run. This is Charlotte’s first murder of 2025.
