2 Charlotte cops almost got put in the dirt after getting shot at on Memorial Day weekend
On May 25th Memorial Day weekend 2025 two Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department officers were shot at on Idlewild Road Charlotte, NC. Watch video of a cop getting shot in the face during a raid.
At 3 a.m. the 2 cops were sitting inside their patrol vehicle when a 2021 Ford Bronco pulled up and fired several shots at the police officers. Memorial Day weekend is known for homicides and crimes.
The officers were scared and ducked for cover, the patrol vehicle was struck multiple times by gunfire. The suspect vehicle then sped off. Unfortunately, neither officer was killed or sustained any injuries.
The 2021 Ford Bronco was stolen out of Cornelius, which was later recovered. The suspects got away. Click here to see how cops catch 187 murders all the time.
