Millionaire tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson, 44, his wife Helen Robinson, their two infant kids Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, their adult friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, the nanny Anita Maria Cetina, and 2 pilots identified as Jeff Gregory, and Nathalia Filgueiras, 20, were all killed in a Learjet 60 crash in Palm Beach, Florida on Nov. 1, 2026. Adam is a tech entrepreneur multimillionaire owning the business Retention.com. Adam decided to take a vacation with his wife and 2 kids to the Bahamas. Adam owned a Lear 60 jet that he paid $2 million in cash for.
Two of Adam’s friends and a nanny were on the jet too. The head pilot was Jeff Gregory and Nathalia Filgueiras was the co-pilot. The Learjet 60 took off from Texas.
When the jet reached Florida the weather was rainy. The jet was at 35,000 feet high and the temperature at that altitude was -50 degrees. The exterior of the plane was accumulating heavy ice.
Turbulence was causing the plane to go up and down in 700 foot intervals. Nathalia got her pilot’s license when she was 17 years old and had only been flying commercially for 9 months at the time of the crash.
Nathalia is heard on the radio talking to air traffic control, she says that the plane is taking on ice and turbulence. Nathalia seeks permission to ascend 2,000 feet more to 37,000 feet in efforts to get out of the ice and turbulence.
Permission is granted by air controllers. As the plane climbs in altitude, a large basketball sized ice chunk hit the tail of the plane, breaking the tail off. The tail is also known as the horizontal stabilizer.
The plane spirals out of control and descends rapidly due to the horizontal stabilizer being broke off. Nathalia is heard making emergency mayday communications on the radio and screaming. The head pilot Jeff is heard saying the Lord’s Prayer as the jet crashes.
Nathalia says,
” We are going to crash and are dropping at 10,000 feet a minute”
The Lear Jet 60 continues to drop and hits a street in Palm Beach, FL. The jet explodes instantly. All 9 people on the jet were killed. Victims on the ground were injured by the crash.
Adam’s company will now likely be sold to a rich buyer.
