Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) employee, Quinto Owens, 36, was arrested on October 27, 2026 accused of having sexual relations with a student. Quinto is a data manager at Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Quinto is accused of having inappropriate physical contact with a juvenile student during a school event. Sexual Assault Unit detectives began an investigation and subsequently obtained warrants for the suspect’s arrest.
Quinto was later arrested charged with two counts of felony indecent liberties with a student by a school administrator.
A shooting occurred near Garinger High near a gas station, the school was placed on lockdown. A Garinger High student was killed in a crash.
