A kid named Legend was killed on Tuesday
A young 7-year-old boy named Legend Jenkins was killed after being hit by a car in Gastonia, NC on May 27, 2025.
Police were called to a location on West Hudson at 5:55 PM for a traffic collision between a Jeep Cherokee driven by a 76-year-old female involving a 7-year-old juvenile boy that was struck.
Legend was attempting to cross the street with another juvenile and was hit in the traffic lane by the Jeep. The child was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries and later transported to Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC where he died at 10:00 PM. Children are killed often in Charlotte.
No charges have been activated for the elderly driver yet.
