LATINO MAN ADMITS TO MURDERING BLACK WOMAN ON BEATTIES FORD ROAD

On May 28, 2025 Juan Zamora, 23, pled guilty to murdering 17-year-old Alysha Johnson in Charlotte, NC. Follow our new Instagram page.

Alysha was murdered on Beatties Ford Rd. back in June 2019 during a robbery in broad daylight. Alysha was shot and killed at the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and LaSalle Street. Three suspects were detained nearby.

Homicide Unit detectives identified Zamora and Andy Garcia along with a 15-year-old juvenile as suspects in this case. The suspects were arrested and subsequently charged with murder.

The murder charges were later dropped for Garcia.

The district attorney dropped the murder charge on Garcia

Juan pled guilty to murder and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. The 15-year-old has not ended his trial yet.
