Juan Zamora, 17, Andy Garcia, 16, and a 15-year-old male juvenile are all charged with the murder of Alysha Johnson, 17.
Alysha was shot and killed in Charlotte, NC during an alleged robbery. On June 17 Alysha was shot and killed at the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and LaSalle Street. The three suspects were detained nearby. It is alleged that the suspects were initiating some sort of robbery when one of them shot and killed Alysha.
Homicide Unit detectives identified Zamora and Garcia and the 15-year-old juvenile as suspects in this case. The suspects were arrested and subsequently interviewed by detectives. All three suspects were charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
