Video shows cops knocking down a door, only to get shot within seconds
A quadruple shooting involving police officers and an armed citizen occurred on June 12, 2024 in Ogle County, Illinois. 3 cops were shot. See more quadruple shootings here.
32-year-old Jonathon Gounarisis is accused of shooting the 3 police officers. Early reports show that police responded to a home regarding a man threatening to commit suicide and homicide.

One suspect killed 3 U.S. Marshalls and one cop in a house raid
Cops say they tried multiple attempts to talk to Jonathon. A police SWAT team was then sent into the home.
Cops are seen using a battering ram in a no knock raid. As the door is knocked down, cops entered the home and Jonathon then opened fire on the SWAT team, authorities say.
3 cops were shot allegedly by the suspect. One of the cops was shot in the face.
The other cops were shot in the arms and stomach. Police returned fire and shot Jonathon during the shootout.
Jonathon and the injured officers were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The cop that was shot in the face had to be air lifted to the hospital. The suspect was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted first degree murder, three counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm, three counts of aggravated battery and two counts of possession without a firearm owner’s identification card.
