VIDEO: MASERATI GIVES COPS THE SLIPS IN HIGH SPEED CHASE

Date:

On May 18, 2023 a Maserati luxury vehicle eluded cops in Arkansas during a high speed chase.

A state trooper was patrolling on Interstate 530. The trooper saw a black Maserati vehicle that had expired license plates.

The cop pulled the vehicle over in a traffic stop. As the officer approached the Maserati the smell and odor of marijuana was emitting from the passenger compartment.

A large bottle of alcohol was open also. The cop asked the driver to exit the vehicle.

The driver had a large stack of money with $100 bills in his pockets, which the officer found during a pat down. The driver then ran back to his Maserati and began to flee southbound on Interstate 530.

The cop began pursuing the vehicle. The officer attempted a pursuit intervention technique known as a PIT maneuver, but the driver of the Maserati got out of the maneuver.

The suspect then exited the interstate and continued fleeing at speeds exceeding 140 MPH as he swerved around cars.

The cop then loses the Maserati and calls the chase off, otherwise known as a 10-22 in police code.
