Date:

On January 6, 2023 a trio of thieves stole $300,000 from an armored truck in a bold robbery in Brooklyn, NY.

It all started with 2 men distracting a Brinks guard and asking the guard for directions around 1 p.m. The guard was unloading an armored truck outside of a Chase Bank. The Brinks guard sat a bag full of $300,000 cash on the bumper of the armored truck.

The 2 men then approached the guard and asked for directions. While the guard was turned around distracted attending to the direction request, another man grabbed the bag of cash and ran off.

The 2 men then ran off before getting the complete directions. The guard turned back to the truck bumper and the 300,000 bag of cash was gone.

No arrests have been made.
