An Uber driver has life threatening injuries after being shot on Cypress Pond Drive Charlotte, NC. The Uber driver was shot on January 8, 2022.
At 2:30 a.m. the Uber driver was taking a back seat passenger to a destination. A suspect then shot the Uber driver several times from outside of the vehicle.
The Uber driver sped away down the street. It was then that the backseat passenger stole the Uber driver’s cash and wallet.
The passenger then ran off. The Uber driver was able to call 911. The Uber driver was rushed to the hospital with life threatening conditions.
A 16-year-old was later arrested and identified as the passenger. A male suspect in his 30’s was arrested also and identified as the shooter, but a name has not been released yet.
