23-year-old Dionyah Thompson was on the good side of cash when she won $150,000 in the lottery at a Charlotte, NC 7-Eleven. But months later on February 14, 2023, she was killed in a double homicide in uptown Charlotte, NC.
Dionyah won the lottery on October 14, 2022– she was then murdered on February 14, 2023.
Dionyah was at a bar brewery located at the intersection of West Summit Ave. and South Tryon St. on February 14, 2023 with a male friend.
As Dionyah was at the brewery in the parking lot, a vehicle pulled up and shot Dionyah and her male friend multiple times.
No arrests have been made.
