WOMAN WON LOTTERY IN CHARLOTTE, THEN SHE WAS KILLED IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE

23-year-old Dionyah Thompson was on the good side of cash when she won $150,000 in the lottery at a Charlotte, NC 7-Eleven. But months later on February 14, 2023, she was killed in a double homicide in uptown Charlotte, NC. 

Dionyah won the lottery on October 14, 2022– she was then murdered on February 14, 2023.

Dionyah was at a bar brewery located at the intersection of West Summit Ave. and South Tryon St. on February 14, 2023 with a male friend.

As Dionyah was at the brewery in the parking lot, a vehicle pulled up and shot Dionyah and her male friend multiple times.

The vehicle then sped off. Dionyah died at the scene. The male victim was rushed to the hospital, where he would later die.

No arrests have been made.
