In July 2026 Khalil Bass, 23, and Jaquavion Davis-Hudson, 19, pled guilty to the second degree murder of 21-year-old Natajah Johnson in Charlotte, NC. Kenya Venable, 25, pled guilty to the same murder earlier this year.
Natajah was sitting in a vehicle when a suspect killed him in a drive by shooting. The suspects drove next to Natajah in the shopping center parking lot. Several shots were fired at Natajah with a automatic Glock switch gun.
The suspect vehicle then sped off. Multiple bullet holes were seen throughout the victim’s vehicle and windows. Natajah died at the hospital.
The adult male suspects pled guilty to murder and were given 157-201 months in prison. Kenya pled guilty in February 2026. Jaquavion pled guilty and received 200 months in prison. The female Akilah Parham was charged with accessory after the fact, and her charges are still pending.
