A very violent and bloody Labor Day weekend has transpired in Charlotte. 3 people have been murdered and 9 people have been shot. Most recently, on Labor Day September 6, 2021 a woman was killed on E. 22nd St. near uptown Charlotte, NC.
The woman was killed around 5:30 a.m. Police officers responded to a call to assist medics with an unresponsive female. Officers and medics located the female who was not breathing. She was pronounced deceased on scene.
No other details are known at the moment.
On September 5, 2021 a 16-year-old male was shot and killed in a triple shooting on Trinity Road.
