Famous actor Michael K. Williams, 54, died on Labor Day Sept. 6, 2021. Michael was found dead in his New York penthouse around 2 p.m. His nephew found him unresponsive and unconscious in the dining room of the penthouse.
Emergency medics were called, and Michael was pronounced deceased. Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene, authorities say. Michael was best known for his role as ‘Omar’ in the hit HBO show The Wire.
In the show, ‘Omar’ robbed drug dealers and carried out various homicides.
