It has been a very violent Labor Day weekend 2021 for Charlotte. On September 5, 2021 three people were shot in a drive-by shooting inside a parking lot near Lituation Lounge on Independence Boulevard Charlotte, NC.
The shooting was around 2 in the morning after the Lituation Lounge had closed. A fight broke out and a vehicle pulled up and began firing several shots into a crowd of people, 3 people were shot and taken to the hospital.
Nearly 100 shots were fired. No arrests have been made. Also on September 5, 2021 three other people were shot, and one man was killed in the Hidden Valley area.
