Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax and his wife Cerina Fairfax were killed on April 16, 2026 in Annandale, Virginia from a murder suicide. Justin was the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 2018 to 2022. Justin murdered his wife and then committed suicide all while their 2 kids watched.
Justin and Cerina were going through a divorce, they were married for 19 years. Cerina was a successful dentist that owned Dr. Fairfax and Associates Dental office. The married couple had 2 kids together, son Cameron and daughter Carysone that were both teenagers. Justin worked as an attorney after his political term was over.
Justin and Cerina got into an argument about something and Justin lost his temper. Justin got a gun and shot Cerina dead in the basement of the home in front of their two kids.
Justin ran upstairs and killed himself via gunshot. Cameron called 911 to report the murder suicide.
The kids are now staying with loving caring family. Justin and Cerina both graduated from Duke University where they met. They got married in June 2006.
