Kenyon Dobie, 24, is the victim of a light rail stabbing that occurred on December 5, 2025. But days later on December 10, 2025 Kenyon was arrested after being released from the hospital, charged with hitting a pregnant woman in face. Kenyon raised $120,000 on Go Fund Me. Oscar boarded a Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Lynx Blue Line Light Rail Train at the Tyvola Road Station platform on December 5, 2025. While on the train, Oscar drank from an alcoholic drink known as Beatbox and Modelo.
He began yelling, at which point another passenger, Kenyon told Oscar to stop yelling and leave everyone alone. Video shows the most recent stabbing death of Iryna Zarutska, 23, on a Lynx Blue Line train.
Oscar and Kenyon then got into a fight, Oscar is accused of stabbing Kenyon in the chest multiple times. Oscar left the train, but was arrested nearby.
Kenyon was taken to the hospital in critical condition. During Kenyon’s hospital stay, he was able to raise $120,000 plus on the Go Fund Me website, but Kenyon already had warrants for his arrest in the alleged attack of a pregnant woman.
After Kenyon was released from the hospital, he was arrested on warrants, accused of attacking a pregnant woman. According to the arrest warrant, Kenyon is accused of punching the pregnant woman in the face and threatening to kill her and her family. After being cleared from hospital Kenyon was arrested charged with assault with serious injury, assault on pregnant woman, and domestic violence; all while Kenyon has $120,000 in his bank account and growing.
