The suspect loves the USA, he has been deported twice, but always finds his way back to Charlotte illegally, now he is in jail after allegedly stabbing a man in the chest on the Lynx blue line train
On December 05, 2025 a stabbing occurred on a Lynx Blue Line train in Charlotte, NC. Oscar Solarzano, 33, is accused of stabbing Kenyon Dobie, 24, in the chest on the train while Oscar was drunk. Oscar boarded a Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Lynx Blue Line Light Rail Train at the Tyvola Road Station platform. While on the train, Oscar drank from an alcoholic drink known as Beatbox.
He began yelling, at which point another passenger, Kenyon Dobie told Oscar to stop yelling and leave everyone alone.

After consuming even more Beatbox alcohol, Oscar stood up, walked directly at Kenyon and allegedly initiated a verbal confrontation.
Kenyon repeatedly told Oscar to back away and leave him alone. Oscar refused and continued his conduct.
Kenyon pushed Oscar away causing Oscar to stumble backward onto a seat across the open isle way.
Oscar began to stand up while producing an extremely large fixed blade knife from his pocket. Oscar walked towards Kenyon and allegedly stabbed him in the chest with the knife.
Kenyon and other passengers fled to the opposite side of the light rail train. Kenyon began bleeding profusely. Oscar fled the scene when the train stopped. Officers arriving to the area were able to locate Oscar and arrest him. Kenyon was taken to the hospital via ambulance with extensive stab wounds.
Oscar had red glossy eyes, slurred speech, and liquor mixed with Modelo beer infused breath. Oscar’s bottle of Beatbox alcohol was empty.
Oscar allegedly admitted to stabbing Kenyon and fleeing after the incident. Before this stabbing, Oscar had been officially banned from the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Light Rail trains.
Oscar is an illegal immigrant and has been deported twice from the United States. However, due to weak immigration laws and enforcement, Oscar always comes back to Charlotte within a short time of being deported. An ICE immigration detainer was lodged on Oscar during his December 2025 arrest. He was arrested charged with intoxicated and disruptive, attempted murder, and assault with deadly weapon. The victim is in serious condition at the hospital.
