Demarius Poole, 22, was arrested charged with the murder of 19-year-old Marquez Summers that occurred in Charlotte, NC on July 9, 2024. Six people were shot and killed between July 8th and 9th.
Marquez was shot on Carver Boulevard around 6 p.m. Marquez was then driven to Atrium Health Hospital on North Tryon St.
Hospital staff was treating Marquez for his injuries, but he died at the hospital.
Demarius was arrested on July 10, 2024 charged with murder.
