A violent homicide occurred on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC on July 9, 2024. This marks the 6th homicide in a matter of a little over 24 hours. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The victim was shot near a business in the afternoon. The victim was dropped off at the hospital and was later pronounced deceased by medical staff.
Detectives are currently working to locate a crime scene. This is an active and ongoing investigation. As additional information develops, it will be released.
This is now the 6th homicide today. 5 people were murdered prior all across Charlotte, all within hours of each other.
