A shooting at Brooklyn Lounge killed a rapper, he made a song called ‘Hard to Kill’
On September 21, 2025 a rapper was shot and killed at Brooklyn Lounge on North Caldwell St Charlotte, NC. The victim was a local Charlotte rapper identified as Steven Wheeler, 26. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
A dispute of some sort arose at Brooklyn Lounge, several shots were fired and the victim was shot. The victim died on scene. Video of a murder at a lounge in Charlotte can be seen here.
No suspects are in custody. The victim made a rap song ‘Hard to Kill’ and ‘6 Missed Kalls’.
A video of a murder from earlier this week in uptown Charlotte shows a man being killed.
The victim also is an alumni of West Meck High School in Charlotte.
Rappers getting shot and killed appear to be a growing trend.
