4 people have died on I-77 within week due to crashes
On September 18, 2025 a fatal crash occurred on I-77 Charlotte, NC.
At 11 p.m. the crash took place near the Tyvola Road overpass. One victim was killed in the collision. The late night wreck caused traffic backups for hours. Another victim in the crash was transported to a nearby hospital.
This is now the 4th person killed on I-77 in nearly a week.
