2 people have been killed on I-77 within one week
On September 13, 2025 a pedestrian was struck and killed during a crash on I-77 and West Arrowood Road Charlotte, NC.
Around 10:30 p.m. a victim was walking on the highway when they were struck by oncoming vehicular traffic. The victim spiraled up into the air and crashed down on the interstate shoulder.
Medic responded to the scene and the victim was pronounced deceased. This is the second person to be killed on Interstate 77 this week.
A victim was killed on September 9, 2025 in a wreck on Interstate 77 near Wilkinson Blvd. and Remount Rd.
