31-year-old Hadari Williams was arrested on January 7, 2026 after getting in a high speed chase with police on I-485 in Charlotte, NC. The chase ended in Rowan County. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

At 11 a.m. the North Carolina State Highway Patrol tried to pull over the suspect as he was driving a Mercedes Benz. It is unknown why cops tried to pull him over.
Nevertheless Hadari refused to stop and sped off. State troopers gave chase, even though they should not of, as high speed chases can kill innocent people. Police departments don’t stop high speed chases until they get sued due to a innocent person dying in a chase.
Hadari reached speeds of over 100 mph running from police. A police helicopter even got involved in the chase. Hadari drove in east Charlotte, and merged onto Independence Boulevard toward Interstate 85. A collision occurred on I-85 between one of the state troopers and another car.
The chase went all the way into Rowan County where Hadari ran out of gas and stopped at a Lowes parking lot. He was arrested charged with felony flee to elude, hit and run, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Hadari has been in high speed chases in the past in other states including Maryland and Virginia.
