A dump truck crashed head on into Michael Presnell as he was riding with his son, dad died
Michael Presnell, 44, died in a crash that was on New Year’s Eve 2025 on Wilkinson Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Dump truck news in Charlotte involves crimes and car accidents.
The fatal wreck was on Dec. 31, 2025, at approximately 11:23 a.m. Michael was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Wilkinson Blvd when he was making a turn and collided with a Peterbilt dump truck.
Michael was located unresponsive in the driver’s seat with life threatening injuries. Officers also located his son with life threatening injuries inside the Jeep. Cops say Michael was making an improper turn.
Medics transported both Mr. Presnell and his son to the hospital. The driver of the dump truck was not injured. On Friday, Jan. 2, 2026 Mr. Presnell succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. His son survived.
