A deadly Mack truck collision left one man dead in a traffic wreck
Alexander True, 30, was arrested on November 30, 2022 after Michael Rasmussen, 58, died in a deadly collision at the intersection of Providence Road and Fairview Road Charlotte, NC. A large mack truck collided with an SUV.
A Subaru SUV was traveling on Providence Road. Around 5:40 a.m. as the Subaru entered the intersection of Fairview Road, a Mack Garbage Truck driven by Alexander allegedly ran a red light and struck the Subaru SUV head on.
The collision completely obliterated the Subaru. Michael was pronounced deceased on the scene. Alexander was arrested at the scene and charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle.
