Andre Whitfield, 28, was arrested on August 31, 2023 accused of shooting a woman near a school. The shooting was on Rama Road Charlotte, NC on August 30, 2023.
At 7:30 a.m. a road rage encounter led to a woman being shot in traffic on Rama Road near several schools. The shooting prompted a lock down at Rama Road Elementary School, McClintock Middle School, and East Mecklenburg High School.
The female victim was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital.
Andre was arrested the next day charged with assault with a deadly weapon and gun on educational property.
