A fight occurred at a brewery in the bar area around 11:47 p.m. on February 13th, the fight spilled into the outside sidewalk around midnight of February 14th.
Shots were fired and Dionyah was shot. A male victim was also shot. Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon with injury 911 call at the brewery.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Dionyah with an apparent gunshot wound, she was pronounced deceased on scene.
Officers also located a male on the scene with an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the male to Atrium Health Main Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation, and Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence.
The male victim hasn’t been identified yet. No arrests have been made.
