On March 8, 2024 an elderly grandmother identified as Chitta Nix was robbed at her home by suspects in Gresham, Oregon.
The victim had just came from an ATM and was followed home by a female suspect. The suspect approaches the elderly victim and pretends as if the victim dropped a credit card. The suspect gives the victim the credit card saying, “You dropped this at the ATM.”
The victim says thank you. The woman then asked to use Nix’s phone, but Nix declines.
The suspect opens the victim’s SUV and steals a purse containing $500. In the purse was also credit cards, medication, and a gold bracelet.
