A brutal robbery transpired at Concord Mills Mall on August 16, 2023. The smash and grab robbery occurred at the Kay Jewelers in the mall.
At 6:30 p.m. 4 suspects entered the mall via a back service corridor entrance not open to the public. The suspects traversed the back hallways into the Kay Jewelers store.
Once in the store the suspects used hammers to break open display cases and steal jewelry and Rolex watches.
The Rolex watches stolen were $34,000 worth of merchandise.
The suspects were wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived in a red Toyota RAV4. The tag on the suspect vehicle was from Georgia and was fake.
