Sanchez Hudson, 18, is accused of shooting at a customer while the victims were in the drive thru of a Mcdonald’s in Charlotte, NC on West Sugar Creek Road.
The shooting was on October 30, 2023 at the McDonald’s parking lot on 1201 West Sugar Creek Rd.
The victim was in a Toyota Corolla in the Mcdonald’s drive thru when someone shot at them. The shots hit the back windshield of the vehicle and busted the glass out.
The suspects then fled. The shots startled customers, some vehicles in the drive-thru drove off.
Officers arrived on scene and were able to review the surrounding security footage. Officers located footage of a white SUV on Reagan Dr. several feet before the entrance of the Royal Inn.
The Royal Inn is beside the McDonald’s. Two suspects can be seen standing by the SUV.
Two suspects then began running towards the victim at the Mcdonald’s drive-thru. The suspects start shooting at the vehicle in the drive thru.
After the shooting, the suspects entered the SUV and drove away. Sanchez was allegedly on probation with an ankle monitor at the time of the shooting.
Cops tracked his movements with the real time crime center and determined Sanchez was allegedly in the parking lot at the time of the shooting, coupled with surveillance video.
On November 13, 2023 Sanchez was arrested and charged with discharging firearm into occupied dwelling.
