The dishes at Pho Real were being washed with water and no soap or sanitizer
On July 23, 2025 the Pho Real Vietnamese restaurant scored a horrible 88 B on a food safety inspection. Pho Real is in a strip mall at 440 E McCullough Dr. Charlotte, NC. Pho Real has a huge history of being nasty.

There were 7 risk factor violations with multiple repeat violations. The manager was unaware of the dish machine not properly sanitizing. The dish machine had 0 sanitizer in it, the dishes were only being washed with water.
Pho Real employees were leaving out the back door, grabbing handles to re-enter and did not wash hands before returning to touch food. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Several Pho Real employees coughed in their hands and did not wash their hands afterwards. Raw chicken was stored above ready to eat foods. Multiple Asian cuisined restaurants in Charlotte have had sub par food inspections.
Containers of broth were held at unsafe temperatures. Slaw and sliced beef were also held at unsafe temperatures and had to be discarded.
Employee food at Pho Real was commingled with food for patrons throughout the restaurant.
