Taya Transue, 31, was arrested on September 9, 2025 accused of stealing $4,000 from her job Johnny Dollars Inc. in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Taya is accused of stealing a sheet of blank checks from the victim business in early 2025. Taya quit her job at Johnny Dollars around the same time. Taya is accused of writing company checks to herself in the amount of $4,000.

Taya was even featured in our too pretty for jail series.

The checks were deposited into a Bank of America account. An email was sent to Bank of America with copies of the checks from Johnny Dollars requesting information on the deposits.

Bank of America replied and gave the transaction details of the deposits. Taya is accused of making a social media Facebook post, that stated:

“was owned because couldn’t handle the ABUSE anymore.” was willing to walk away with only 3 GRAND!” “THE GREED!”

Bank of America provided video of Taya making the deposit at the local branch on Iverson way. Taya was arrested charged with obtain property by false pretense.
