2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED ACCUSED OF MURDERING MAN

Demoni Richard, 21, was arrested on March 17, 2025 accused of murdering 28-year-old Raymone Flakes. A 17-year-old was also arrested charged with the murder, the juvenile was apprehended in December 2024. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.

Raymone was shot and killed on Perennial Terrace Charlotte, NC at 11:28 a.m on December 17, 2024. Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Officers discovered Raymone with multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics took Raymone to Novant Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased just days before Christmas. Click here to see more Christmas time homicides. 

The teen suspect was arrested on December 19, 2024 charged with armed robbery, and murder. And on March 17, 2025 Demoni was arrested charged with robbery and murder.
