3 people in Charlotte have been killed in motorcycle crashes in one week, what is going on?!
On Monday Aug. 25, 2025 Thomas Pruitt, 64, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Charlotte, NC.
The crash was at 8:22 p.m. on Paw Creek Road. Thomas was driving a motorcycle when a collision occurred between it and a Chevrolet SUV.
The crash knocked Thomas off of the motor bike and threw him onto the hard asphalt. Thomas died on scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was screened for impairment and was found to not be impaired.
Toxicology results are pending for Thomas. It is not known who was at fault yet. Contributing circumstances for this vehicle collision are currently under investigation.
This is now the third motorcycle fatal crash this week.
