A male victim was shot and killed by police on October 4, 2023 on Frazier Avenue Charlotte, NC in the uptown area. Preliminary information indicates that at 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, an officer encountered an armed subject matching the description of the armed suspect.
The cop shot the subject multiple times. The officer was not injured. The suspect was was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter. A firearm was recovered on scene. This is the second cop to kill a man in uptown within weeks.
