52-year-old Lonny Earnhardt was killed in a vehicular collision on October 5, 2023 on Interstate 85 in Charlotte, NC.
At 3:30 a.m. Lonny was driving a vehicle on I-85 near Mallard Creek Church Road.Lonny lost control and the vehicle drove off the side of the road, entering the wood line, and colliding with several trees.
The vehicle was mangled from the collision. Lonny was ejected from the vehicle due to the force of the crash. Lonny died while on the way to the hospital. Lonny had kids, and leaves behind a loving family.
