Vincent Henry, 40, was arrested on August 4, 2025 accused of killing 74-year-old Ace Chambers in a hit and run crash that occurred in Charlotte, NC. Ace was killed on North Tryon St. on July 5, 2025.
Ace was walking on the streets at 12:50 a.m. on July 5th. Several 4th of July celebrations were occurring. A vehicle ran into a Chrysler 300 vehicle, which then hit Ace.
The Chrysler 300 had heavy damage. The driver of the Chrysler 300 was driven by Willie Sturdivant, 35, two juvenile passengers were in the car too. Although Willie did not cause the crash, Willie was drunk, so he was charged with DWI. Ace died on scene.
Vincent was arrested a month later charged with involuntary manslaughter and felony hit and run.
