At 10:00 a.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon with injury call. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim in the parking lot of a strip mall with a gunshot wound.
She was pronounced deceased on scene. Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. No arrests have been made.
