A nasty dirty rat trap box was found in the pot at Crackin Crawfish, apparently rats love seafood too

The restaurant added new indian food to the menu without approval. Finger nail clippers were found right on top of the prep table, the employee moved the nail clippers and then went to prepping food without washing hands.

Queen’s Soul Food restaurant had roaches during a food inspection

A metal rodent trap box was being stored inside a pot in dry storage area. Raw lobster tail was being stored over unwashed potatoes. The rice, cooked goat, milk, cashew sauce, and lentils were not date marked.

The house made yogurt was left out overnight in the facility without refrigeration in order to ferment it. An approved HACCP plan is required for yogurt fermentation and Crackin Crawfish did not have a plan.

The yogurt had to be discarded. Crackin Crawfish will now start buying commercially packaged yogurt instead of making it in the restaurant. An employee at Crackin Crawfish did not have a hair net on.

The Mr. Charles Chicken and Fish restaurant had dead pests in the business

There was a build up of food debris on equipment. Splash and debris build up was on ceiling and walls throughout the facility. Employee drinks were on the prep table.
