Mykel Washington, 19, (Left) and Andre Kashawn Clark, 19, (Right) have each been charged with the 1st Degree Murder of Damien Mackins that happened in February 2018.

They are accused of murdering Damien Mackins.
As a result of information and evidence gathered during the investigation, detectives developed information which led them to arrest Washington on Wednesday, March 13, 2018, for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault with a Deadly Weapon, stemming from an incident prior to the date of the murder.
Washington was then transported to police headquarters where he was interviewed by detectives. At the conclusion of the interview, Washington was charged with 1st Degree Murder and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon related to the February 2, 2018, murder of Damien Mackins.
Detectives identified Clark as the second suspect in this case and signed a warrant for his arrest.
Earlier today, police located and arrested Clark on the outstanding warrant and transported him to police headquarters to be interviewed.
Upon completion of the interview, Clark was charged with 1st Degree Murder and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon in addition to drug charges from today’s investigation.
