Corey’s girlfriend found him dead with cocaine in a rolled up dollar bill
New results shows Corey baker, 28, died from a drug overdose of fentanyl and cocaine in Charlotte, NC. Corey had 8.5 mL of fentanyl in his blood. Urine was in Corey’s bladder and partially digested food was in his gastric contents.

He died on September 3, 2020. He was found unresponsive on the couch by his girlfriend. Medic responded to the scene and pronounced Corey dead. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

A rolled up dollar bill and a baggie containing white powder cocaine was in Corey’s pocket.
Autopsy examination reveals Corey had an enlarged heart with thickened left ventricle, suggestive of chronic high blood pressure.

Corey’s lungs were edematous, and he had foamy secretions in his airway. Toxicology results revealed the presence of fentanyl and cocaine in the decedent’s blood. Both lungs had congestion and edema.
Fentanyl and cocaine overdoses causes edema in the lungs and airways. The combined use of fentanyl and cocaine markedly increases the risk of sudden death due to respiratory and central nervous system depression.
Corey’s official cause of death is fentanyl and cocaine toxicity.
