A pastor admitted to sexually assaulting a teen girl in his church office, tongue kissing her and giving her hickey
Jose Lopez-Hernandez, 52, is the pastor of Ministerio Jesus Liberta Church in Kentucky. In 2026 Pastor Hernandez admitted to sexually assaulting a teenage girl at his church in the pastor’s office. Pastor Hernandez is an illegal immigrant.
The sexual assault was in October 2023. Pastor Hernandez had called the teen girl into his office after church. The girl was a member of the church. Pastor Hernandez locked the door and began tongue kissing the teen girl, he also grabbed her booty and breast.
Pastor Hernandez then began kissing the girl on the neck giving her a hickey. At some point the girl was able to pull away and get out of the pastor’s office. The girl told her father, who then told police.
Pastor Hernandez fled to California, but cops tracked him down and arrested him. In 2026 Pastor Hernandez pled guilty to sexual abuse and will be required to register as a sex offender. An immigration detainer was also placed on Pastor Hernandez because he is in the United States illegally.
